The Department of Student Publications announced today that the 2006-2007 Grassburr yearbooks have finally arrived.
Students who purchased a copy can pick theirs up in the Student Publications office, Room 20, Lower Level of the Thompson Student Center.
Jim Looby, director of Student Publications, said that he was pleased with results of the students' efforts, even if the wait for the books was slightly longer this year.
"Our students have produced an outstanding yearbook," Looby said. "The delays associated with getting them back from the printer this year were beyond our control, but I think students will find the wait was worthwhile. It's an exceptional book."
Grassburr editor Kayce Neal said that she was satisfied with the result.
"I'm pleased with it," Neal said. "I hope that students will view this yearbook as a good reflection of the last school year."
Grassburr staff members are also busy working on the current 2007-2008 yearbook. Looby said that this year marks significant changes to the annual, based on last year's student referendum.
"Every undergraduate student at the Stephenville campus will automatically receive a yearbook for the 2007-2008 academic year," Looby said. "A $25 fee will be assessed in the spring semester, based on student's approval of a referendum last fall."
Neal said that the changes will result in a much larger, more inclusive annual.
"This year's book will be even larger," Neal said. "All students' photographs will be included, as well as faculty and staff."
