The Plowboys had another campus and Highway 67 clean-up last Wednesday and Thursday, a tradition that has been going on for several years.
"We've been doing clean-ups since at least as long as I have been a Plowboy," said Seth Claybaker, the Plowboys' Secretary of Alumni and a junior at Tarleton State University.
None of the plowboys are really sure exactly how long the organization had been doing clean-ups, but they said it is an integral part of the Plowboys' organization.
"It's part of what we were founded on, giving back to the community and the school," said Justin Comeaux, Plowboy Treasurer.
"A lot of people see the Plowboys in a negative light, but our main goal is to promote spirit, help out on campus and not represent the university in a negative way," Claybaker said.
Despite the negative light, the Plowboys insist that they do a lot of positive activities.
"We do the clean-up several times a year and many philanthropy projects," Claybaker said.
