COBA turns 20

The College of Business at Tarleton was established in 1989 when it broke away from the College of Agriculture. Since then, the college has moved into their new building, with 16 undergraduate programs and four graduate programs and has been many times considered one of the best programs in the country.

Campus corner preps for new look
The Tarleton Alumni Association is planning to renovate the Campus Corner, located on at the corner junction of McIlhaney and Tarleton, to host meetings and special occasions. The Campus Corner is the second phase of the 'Coming Home Campaign,' which is a project to create a place for alumni when they visit Tarleton.

Fallen Texans honored at Silver Taps
The Silver Taps Ceremony, an annual ceremony held to honor members of the Tarleton family that have passed away in the past year, was held on Thursday, April 16. "The Silver Taps Ceremony is put on by the Tarleton ROTC, the Tarleton Alumni Association and Tarleton Alumni Relations," said a member of Tarleton Alumni Relations.

In this week's session of "Enhancing Your Study Skills," Student Success Program Coordinator, Diane Rodriguez, discussed three different learning styles commonly used by college students and techniques to help improve each style. She described three styles of learning, including visual, auditory and tactile.

Losing stuff has always been easy but finding what you've lost has been another thing all together. Finding your lost keys, thumb drives and wallets on the Tarleton campus is becoming much easier thanks to a new roster of lost and found items on your myGateway website.
